Hello! My name is Peggy, and I run my own art and design business specializing in murals, custom artwork, and illustration. I also design logos, create custom signage, and offer live painting sessions at events.

I earned my BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I studied Environmental Design and Painting. I’ve always been interested in themes of sustainability, nature, and interaction with art in public spaces. As an artist and small business owner, I have an 8 year track record of successfully creating site-specific art pieces and transforming spaces. You’ll find my work in unique venues including (but not limited to!) on an indoor climbing wall in Illinois or on a fully-functional solar panel array on a rooftop in Jackson Hole, WY. I love to experiment with new materials and to explore the intersection of art, science and nature.

In addition to my work as an artist, I am also a professional mountain guide. I travel seasonally to lead technical climbing ascents of mountains in places like Denali, the Tetons, the deserts of Utah and Nevada, and more. My time is split between bigger cities like Chicago and wilderness areas in the West. I love weaving visual themes from my experiences in nature into my work as an artist. My design process, especially for murals, is often community driven and I am always looking for new ways to engage a wider audience in the process to create a meaningful experience from start to finish.
